Who knew?

Did you know that Texas has a pledge? Did you also know that the kids recite it every morning after the Pledge of Allegiance and before their moment of silence to remember our country?

Neither did I until my kids were talking about their morning routine at school.

    it makes me happy to hear that they say the pledge of allegiance. I always thought that no one did that anymore! And the moment of silence...that's so good!

    Ruth went to preschool in Texas and they even did it there every day! Texas is VERY patriotic. :( I miss it there :(

    I learned that recently from Lindsey and Travis. Apparently Texans are very proud! Hope you're getting settled in!
