My Favorites

I was going through some pictures on my computer the other day and I came across some from back in the day. Some aren't too old, most of them from when I first got a digital camera. I haven't scanned the OLD pictures of TC and Titus when they were babies but a lot of these are still some of my favorite.
None of Tanner...he gets posted a lot :-)

It is so crazy how fast they grow and change. I don't miss having babies, but I sure do miss how fun they are when they are little. I love my boys!

Todd on the blog??

I have been thinking lately about blogging with Connie and use it as she does as a journal.

Okay...here we go...the first one...

We took the boys on a mini vacation over valentines weekend to Days Inn hotel. It was a fly by the seat of our pants (Connie just noticed what I am doing and is laughing at me) decision for some family fun. We got some dinner (Wendy's), had the laptop so they could have some way to watch their movie while we watched the Olympics.

We were down in the pool swimming as a family. Tate and Tobyn were both having fun jumping of the side to me in the deep end. TC and Titus were having a blast practicing their diving. TC came up out of the water and said "Look dad I am a Whale." He went on to say how he wished he could blow water out as we was going. He dove in and came up and his short had came down so as he out again his bum was sticking out. We all started to laugh and Titus said "Good thing he did fart or he would have made water come out of his blowhole!"

Grandma Mody

Grandma Moday passed away on Tuesday Feb 9th. I didn't know her as well as my other grandmas and I learned a lot about her life from the funeral. One of the most important things I learned was that the traits that I got from my dad, came from her.
She gave me my dad and my wonderful Biesinger family and to that I am forever grateful. When I am with them it is like the comfort of going home. I am proud to say that I am now a Christensen, But will forever be a Biesinger. I thank my grandma, despite many hardships, that she helped to form my dad to what he is/was and in turn to what I am/will become.
The ironic (well, semi-ironic) thing is that my dad died on Jan 6th, her birthday. She was buried on Feb 16th, his birthday. I am sure the reunion was happy. They were both loved and will be missed. I have had the priviledge of feeling my dad around me a couple of times this week and I cherish those moments as much as I do the memories of him while I was growing up. It reasures me that those we loved, who have passed on, are never far from our side.

One tired kid...

I was cleaning the other day and Tanner was a bit cranky. I gave him his blanky then turned around a few minutes later...

Yep, the kid was fast asleep. Funny boy!

Last Checkride!

Todd took his last checkride yesterday. It was for his MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor) and so now he can teach people how to fly a plane with two engines. He passed, nice! So this SHOULD be the last check we have to pay for. HURRAY!

Way to go Todd!
