I'm not sure I have EVER gone this long with out blogging! What's become of me?! There just isn't much going on.
Life is pretty routine around here. I was called to be a counselor in the Primary Presidency. I am enjoying it. I still have my job of a Den Leader, which I don't mind too much. It's a little crazy at times, but it's a welcome busy. I am still plugging along in school. I am taking Math right now, and (I'd never thought I'd say this) I am liking it. I don't LOVE math and it still makes my head hurt to think about too much. But, compared with the last class, where no matter what I did I could not find a way to please the teacher, this is class is much better.
I enjoy the art classes a ton. I love they way they push me to go out of my comfort zone. So much of it is left to interpretation though, and math is absolute. If you don't do the math right you don't get the right answer. I think it's a welcome change is all. The art will be fun to get back into soon enough.
My hair business has picked up quite a bit and I am really enjoying that. I have enjoyed getting to know others. I especially love getting to know women in my ward. I have a fun time chatting with them when they come over. I have a pretty good non-LDS clientele as well and they are also fun to get to know.
The kids are just being kids. They play, go to school, scouts, homework, play some more. I see them mainly at meals and when they need something :-) They must be growing up a little. TC is growing like a weed! The kid eats me out of house and home and is growing out of his clothes like I cannot believe! He is counting down the days until he is taller than me.
Todd's just busy working. He installed some shelves above the washer and dryer a few weeks ago. I am so glad to have that extra storage space! I keep looking for projects to keep him busy. My honey-do list gets a little long some days, but I figure it's a win-win he needs things to keep him busy and I find them. I sure married a great guy!
The weather has been very spring like, and I can't wait to get out and work on some projects! Spring = color! I need to find some easy ways to incorporate a little color in the house, I have some ideas so I'll hopefully be working on them this week!
I do have a few things I need to blog about. Valentines Day, TC's broken arm, just some fun goings-on etc. I'll work on it, but for now TTFN!

Our Max....and a new addition
Our sweet, special, and very loved Max was hit by a car on Feb 2nd. He loved to roam the neighborhood and thought he was tough stuff. He had found a girlfriend up the street and loved to wander around with her. We had done almost everything we could think of to the back yard to keep him in. But he would get out regularly. He loved to head up to the Dollar General. He would get out and but a trip around the block and we would always find him. He was a sweet little thing, but he was a little stinker. On Tuesday I couldn't find him. He had a tag that had our phone number and his name on it so when he got out we would usually recieve a call. That day was differnt. After being gone all day I new something was wrong. Then we recieved the call...
A neighbor had found him up by the Dollar General. He had bit hit by a car and was dead. I was SO sad! The boys and I had a good cry. I called Todd becuase of course he was out of town. He made a call to our wonderful home teacher who came right over to help us burry him. Our neighboor and friend also helped out. I am SO greatful for the wonderful ward members and friends we have made here to helped us out when we needed it.
We gave him a nice grave and said a little prayer. We know our loved Max is in a good place. We all miss him!

The silver linging....This little, cute, pup found his way into our heart. His name is Diesel. He is a Staffordshire Terrier Mix. I had to look it up. He is a spunky little thing! He loves to chew...oh-boy, but so far is GREAT with the kids! I think we will be a little too big to dig under or around the fence, but too small to jump it.

A big one!
TODD TURNED 30!
We sang Happy Birthday at home with a redvelvet volcano cake the day after his birthday. We would have done it ON his birthday but he was in Mexico so, you know, the next day works...
We did the next best thing. Went out to Texas Roadhouse with some good friends!
Although Clayton tried no gold could be found.
The birthday princess...I mean man...and I :-)
I thought I had a picture of all of us but I couldn't find it. I will look harder and see if I can find it. It was a great night and we had lots of fun. It makes for a great night when you get to spend it with good friends!
Happy Birthday Todd!
Another Scout award!
Tanner is 4!
Our fantastic Tanner is 4! I can hardly believe it. He has gotten so big! He says the funniest things now, and he is no longer in Nursery. Our last little one to go into Primary *sniff sniff.
Todd made him an Iron Man cake. Tanner wanted a Super Man cake but we had no luck finding anything to decorate a Super Man cake with but I think this one turned out pretty awesome!

He got Lego Star Wars jammies. He loves them! He wore them all day on his birthday. It was a pretty low-key day, but he had fun.
He also got a nintendo game from Grandma B., a tool set and a ball from Grandma C. I didn't get many pictures of him with those things but he loves them! We love our little guy! He says the darnedest things. The other day he told me that he was married to his friend Kaylee and he wanted to have a sleep over with his friends Kaylee and Caleb. Silly boy!
I can't believe how fast he is growing and there are many times I want to push pause and cherish the little moments a little longer. Happy Birthday guy we love you!
