It's been a few years since the last post. I'm (hopefully we, Connie) going to try and get better about posting and keeping up to date. I will also be posting pics from my trips. I'd like to get have some what of a chronology of my work experience.
To give a quick backlog, we moved from our house in Anna, TX (Westfield), to another house in Anna (Creekside) for two years. We moved this spring (2015) to Melissa, TX (Hunters Ridge). In that time Connie graduated from her online school (Art Institute of Pittsburgh?) with a certificate in event management. Soon after she received a job at the Chamber of Commerce in Anna. It great experience for her. She learned a lot about the job and herself. She did a great job putting the events together and knocked the out of the park. Unfortunately, it didn't last. It took its toll on our family and she was over worked, under payed and under appreciated which lead to her resigning.
Since then we been struggling financially and trying to find her a job. I happy to report that a few weeks ago, the Van Alstyn chamber approached her about working PT, and being flexible with the hours she works, being able work during school so she can be home when they're home.
