Once upon a time in a luscious green and white land of Provo High, lived (Ok attended) a (then) very cute girl named Connie. Connie would spend her time studying so as to pass her classes, the other 12 hours a day she would spend with her friends. Giggling helplessly at the boys in the land, wishing that she could find the right one that would sweep her off her feet and take her away to Classic Skating or to the next "stomp" (dance) for a night. She would dream of that night skating, or awkwardly swaying, around and around in endless circles, to the slow songs.
In the land of Provo High also lived (I mean attended) a handsome boy named Todd. Todd would spend his days playing football, football practice, and lifting weights for football. In in his spare time (all 3 hours of the day) he would laugh deeply with his friends while at Classic Skating and in the hall ways of fair land, looking for the next cute girl to take to the stomp. He would sweep her off her feet, or roller blades, and skate or sway the hours away.
It just so happened one September day their paths crossed. They were introduced through a friend (sort of) and decided to meet the next day for an assembly. Assembly day they clicked instantly! It was a great day in the land of Provo High. Bells rang, people cheered and gave high fives all around (ok so maybe it also happened to be the day of the pep rally) But two people couldn't be more meant for each other and fall hopelessly in love! From the time their eye's first met they were inseparable. In May of 1999 they decided to make it official and get married!
And they lived happily ever after.....
Ok so that's not EXACTLY how it happened. But 10 years, 5 beautiful boys, later it's true. We are still married! We can't say our wedding day was the happiest day for us, but it definitely has brought on the best 10 years of our lives! We have worked and pushed and struggled to make it this far. We've made it past all the mile stones that so many said, and we feared, we wouldn't make it past. I am so happy that we are able to celebrate our 10 years married (11 1/2 years together) You are the greatest Todd! Here's to the next 10,20,30, 50...forever years, I love you!
